Gentle Therapy

"Our greatest strength lies in the gentleness and tenderness of our heart! Rumi

I work with people who are struggling to cope with the challenges of everyday life, with the aim of helping them to develop their awareness of their inner wisdom to allow them to be comfortable with themselves and the world around them.

From a place of vulnerability due to low self-esteem, low confidence, shyness, anxiety, panic and depression, we welcome and focus on whatever is present and we learn what is being communicated to better understand the source of your challenges.

With a gentle presence together, we navigate the way back to vitality and a greater sense of self.

I am an art therapist with a background in general nursing. My private practice includes children, adolescents and adults.

I have been influenced and supported by trainings with Cornelia Elbrecht, Dr Stephen Terrell and Bonnie Badenoch. The Transforming touch modality has become central to my approach in working with early relational wounds which can compromise a person’s sense of self. With a gentle presence and a belief in each person’s inherent health there is the opportunity to work towards repair at a pace that suits each person.
